Clearwater home sales are beginning to pick up, however a good portion of those are foreclosures or short sales. Year over year numbers are lower as recently reported reflecting a similarity in the ercentage drop. Values are dropping below what a renter would pay, this makes it very enticing for a renter to become an owner. Ask any 10+ year homeowner and the positive equity and savings far outweigh shelling out monthly rent.
